What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way, on purpose - in the present moment - non judgmentally.
— Jon Kabat Zinn

Mindfulness is an opportunity to wake up from autopilot by intentionally putting your attention to your senses and your body in the present moment. Mindfulness teaches the quality of being in the now gaining a new perspective, feeling connected and grounded, flowing throughout the day.

Being mindful is about awareness, paying attention and cultivating an attitude of curiosity , being open without judgement. You will learn to become your own master, making your own choices. With choice comes freedom.

When you accept this mindset, you are likely to become more satisfied with the life you're actually living .

In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, in the expert’s mind, there are a few.
— Shunryu Suzuki

My vision

Seeing Mindfulness as a lifestyle rather than a stress reduction tool, I am happy to support you on an individual level and teach you how to strengthen your inner resources in order to improve your overall well being and health.

I offer courses and coaching in person or online via Zoom.

Groups sessions are held in small handpicked groups of max.10 participants.

The individual classes or coaching sessions are the most individual way to address your personal needs.

This setting is also very suitable for couples.

My courses provide you skills, but may be experienced as very intensiv learning. I am not a therapist but see myself more as coach encouraging you to turn towards the experiences.

I teach present moment awareness, to be used as opportunity to make wiser choices, feel strongly grounded and live in equanimity with life’s challenges and all its beauty . I recommend living your life in gratitude and with self-compassion.

Mindfulness is a non secular practice, but based on the buddhist tradition.

MY STORY

We all have the power and duty to take care of ourself in order to stay healthy and live the life we wish for.

My path to mindfulness

During a severe sickness I personally got deeply into Mindfulness. I understood that it was time to change my life and I was open and willing to take myself in charge. I understood the power of the mind and discovered the possibility to heal my body and mind.

We all have the obligation to take care of ourselves to turn inside and discover who we are, this is our deepest task, no one else can do it for us. Mindfulness is about being true to oneself, supports to reach clarity in our decision making process and enables us to be more peaceful and resilient in regards to the frantic world we are living in.
